🧊 Thawing Instructions

Recommended method (overnight): Place sealed package in the refrigerator for 12–24 hours before cooking. Slow thawing keeps the fillets firm and flavorful.

Quick thaw: Keep fillets in the sealed package and submerge in a bowl of cold water for 30–60 minutes, changing the water every 20 minutes. Cook immediately after thawing.

⚠️ Do not thaw at room temperature or in warm water.

🍳 Cooking Instructions

Pan Frying (Recommended):

  1. Pat thawed fillets dry with paper towels.
  2. Season with salt, pepper, and your favorite spices, or coat lightly in seasoned flour.
  3. Heat 2–3 tbsp of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown (internal temp 145°F).
  5. Rest 2 minutes and serve hot.

Baking:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Pat fillets dry, brush with olive oil or melted butter, and season to taste.
  3. Place on a lightly oiled baking sheet.
  4. Bake 15–18 minutes until fish flakes easily with a fork (internal temp 145°F).
  5. Finish under the broiler for 2 minutes for a golden top (optional).

Deep Frying:

  1. Pat thawed fillets dry and coat in your preferred breading.
  2. Heat oil to 350–375°F and fry for 4–6 minutes until golden and crispy.
  3. Drain and season immediately. Serve hot.
